Three Unsolicited Suggestions For Tigers Manager Jim Leyland
1. Switch Miguel Cabrera and Prince Fielder in the lineup. It's a small thing, but Cabrera has shown he can produce when provided little protection from the No. 5 hitter in the past. And maybe Fielder will get untracked seeing better pitches in the third spot.
2. Make Andy Dirks the leadoff hitter while Austin Jackson is out. Seems obvious because Dirks is hitting very well and runs reasonably well.
3. Don't play Don Kelly as much. He is a good 25th player on the roster, but gets exposed when played too much. His OPS is .446. That's beyond bad. And is not like he is a Gold Glove fielder at any position.
