Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo: Why Michigan State Won't Stop Denard Robinson
Three reasons why Michigan State's defense won't stop Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson Saturday in Ann Arbor:
1. He is not only the fastest quarterback in the country, he is one of the fastest players. Period. He might be the fastest QB in the history of college football - and has the track times to back up that claim.
2. It's not like the guy can just run, he is also an excellent passer. He has good velocity on his throws and a fast release.
3. Michigan State's defensive backs aren't that fast. If Robinson gets beyond the first cut of the Spartans' defense, it'll be "see ya." Also, Michigan has a deep and fast receiving corps.
