Three Degrees of Pat Caputo: What To Like About The Lions

The Lions still have plenty of holes, but these are three things I think bode well for their future:

1. Ndamukong Suh. I know this will probably come across as a stupid and premature statement to many, but I believe already he is the best player I can remember seeing play for the Lions not named Barry Sanders.

2. The Lions are still losing games, but it hasn't overwhelmed them. In the past, the Lions would just fold at any sign of adversity. For once, they seem to hanging in there pretty well.

3. The schedule lightens up. After a road trip to New York face the Giants this week, the Lions have six remaining home games. And they are done facing their NFC North rivals on the road.
