Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo 8-10-11
Three biggest issues that need to be resolved before the start of the Lions' season:
1. Who will compliment Jahvid Best at running back. Jerome Harrison and Mike Bell both have had success in the NFL. Bell's size and downhill style fits the Lions' needs more, but Harrison is probably the better player.
2. How will offense line shake out. The injury to left tackle Jeff Backus is disconcerting, in addition to training camp time being missed by Gosder Cherilus and Jason Fox.
3. Is the Lions' secondary adequate. It remains their most "iffy" position.
