Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
My three leading candidates for the Calder Trophy for NHL rookie of the year.
1. Corey Crawford, goalie, Chicago - To me, the Blackhawks will be very threatening in the playoffs in large degree because of the emergence of Crawford, who has been remarkably steady.
2. Cam Fowler, defenseman, Anaheim - The kid from Farmington High School is the most underrated rookie in the league. A great skater, who has played a significant role in Ducks' playoff push.
3. Sergei Bobrovsky, goalie, Philadelphia - Has been good enough that the Flyers have been near the top of the Eastern Conference standings most of the season.
