Three Degrees Of Pat Caputo
Three reasons to groan during another NBA Finals between the Lakers and the Celtics:
1. The constant showing of celebrities at the games in LA. Hollywood types are the most notorious of all bandwagon riders. You never see them at the Clippers' games, do you?
2. The Celtics' tradition. Look, the Celtics won most of their titles in the 1950s and 1960s when the league had 12 teams, and the players were wearing low-cut Chuck Taylors. In the era anybody really cares about, the Pistons and Spurs have been nearly as good. You never hear about those teams, though.
3. Phil Jackson. He folds his arms and tells Kobe to shoot. Tough job. Just like when he used to fold his arms and tell Michael to shoot. Most overrated coach of all time. Zen Master, my...well, you know what I'm talking about.
