Theron's Blog: Props To Chrysler
Chrysler had a great 2 minute commercial that aired during the Super Bowl with Eminem. We had a few callers who thought that Chrysler shouldn't have spent so much money on the airtime. A story I saw today on Yahoo said they spent less than 9 million on the spot. I think it was a great use of advertising money and an even better use of a local superstar to boost a Detroit brand. The simple fact that Eminem choose to do a spot for Chrysler, when he easily could get BMW, Audi or Mercedes to pay him tons of cash to promote their lines, shows the people of Metro Detroit that people still care about the city and our local companies. Props to Chrysler and Eminem for a great commercial!
