Theron's Blog: Jersey Rules
If you listened to this morning Stoney and Bill show, you know that I was hammered by both of them and plenty of listeners about my choice to wear my Wayne Gretzky Edmonton Oilers jersey to the Wings/ Oilers game at the Joe. I will start off by saying I am a huge Wings fan and will never root against them, that includes tonight's game. I will still be cheering for the Wings and will go nuts when they score. The reason I am going to wear the Oilers jersey is I that I have never had the chance to wear it to an actual game. The Oilers are my favorite team outside of the Wings and I have been a fan of theirs for almost 20 years. I will also state that the Oilers blue jersey is my favorite jersey in all of sports. I don't understand some of the crazy rules that some people have when it comes to wearing a jersey. I personally don't care if you wear one with someone's name on it or even if it is one from the opposing team. The only rule I follow is do not wear a jersey from another sport to a game. Other than that people, I say "ROCK WHATEVER JERSEY YOU WANT!" Go Wings!
