"There's A Guy Being Attacked By A Couple Of Dogs," A Caller Tells 911 Operator [AUDIO]
METAMORA, Mich. (WWJ) - "There's a guy being attacked by a couple of dogs, they're on top ..., " begins the call to a 911 emergency operator.
Sounding distressed, a woman calls 911 to report a man being mauled by two dogs in Metamora, a suburban area about 45 minutes north of Detroit.
Police have released a 911 call to Lapeer County authorities as Craig Sytsma of Livonia was mauled to death by a pair of dogs while jogging Wednesday near Metamora.

The emergency operator asked for an address and then the caller tries to find an address ... seemingless without success.
"The dogs looked like they ran off into the woods somewhere ... they looked to be pit bulls, but I couldn't tell, but they looked to be pit bulls," said the caller.
The dogs, originally identified as a pit bull breed, were actually two Cane Corsos, an exotic breed used in hunting wild boars, were surrendered to authorities.
Metamora Police Chief David Mallet said 46-year-old Craig Sytsma was out for a jog after work, on July 23, when he was attacked by two Cane Corso dogs.
Mallet said a neighbor who was cutting his lawn saw Sytsma lying in the ditch as the dogs were mauling him.
"The man described that it looked like he was wrestling with these dogs, but he was indeed being attacked by the animals," Mallet told WWJ Newsradio 950′s Sandra McNeill.
Metamora Township police are expected to provide the results of their investigation to Lapeer County prosecutors this week, with a decision on possible criminal charges to follow.
