There Is No Crying In Hockey
The only downside of watching the Stanley Cup Finals on CBC Wednesday night was not seeing former Black Hawk and Flyer Jeremy Roenick cry to the nation on NBC. This is not hyperbole. He actually got choked up and cried about his former team winning a Stanley Cup. I don't think he was so emotional with happiness for Chicago either. I think he realized that even his former team was able to win a Stanley Cup without him. Yes, J.R. never won the best trophy in sports , and that still haunts him to this day. Take a look. Even Mike Milbury gives him a little grief. This is priceless.
