The Hockey Lockout Helps Conan O'Brien
By: Sara
As the NHL lockout drags on and on, the word is that there has been some traction in the negotiations between the players and the owners. Talks are continuing, but in the meantime, the players need to keep themselves busy with some off-ice activities. Thank goodness Conan O'Brien had an opening for some interns. He was taken up on his offer by Kings forward Dustin Penner. Penner used his hockey skills to add a little extra flair to things like making copies and delivering coffee.
The Stanley Cup champ said, "I was just going through the everyday motions of being an intern. Sweeping the floor, filling the printer tray with paper...and letting my aggression out on the other interns. I am trying to bully my way to the top of the food chain at TBS."
