The Green Hornet's Car "Black Beauty" Appearing At Auto Show
The new movie, The Green Hornet, doesn't arrive in theatres until Friday, but one of the stars of the show - the Green Hornet's car "Black Beauty" - makes its debut in Detroit Monday.
"Black Beauty" will be on display at the North American International Auto Show starting Monday, January 10th, through the end of the show on Sunday, January 23rd. The Auto Show opens to the public on Saturday, January 15th.
"Black Beauty" is located in the Oakland Concourse near the Joe Louis statue and available to the general public at no charge.
The car is a 1964-1966 Chrysler Imperial outfitted to help The Green Hornet, Britt Reid (Seth Rogen) and his partner, Kato (Jay Chou) in their fight against crime. The car is basically a mobile fortress on wheels and features numerous special gadgets, including:

Race Trans Turbo 400 Manual Valve Body Transmission
Moser Ford 9-inch Rear Differential W/4.56 Gears & Detroit Locker
Twin Calipers in rear for stunts
