The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader
If there were just one word that could be used to describe "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader," it would have to be "wow!" Or maybe, "exciting!" Or, possibly even "spectacular!"
On the other hand, after thinking about it, not just one word will do. That's because all of those words and more describe the film, which is based on the third of C.S. Lewis' seven-book "The Chronicles of Narnia" series.
The story takes place in wartime England, circa 1943. It follows the two youngest Pevensie siblings - Lucy and Edmund - who are reluctantly visiting a relative at his home near Cambridge. Lucy and Edmund are having a time dealing with their bothersome cousin Eustace Clarence Scrubb. That is, until the three of them
are transported into Narnia's Eastern Sea after coming across a painting of The Dawn Treader.
Once in Narnia, the adventures begin!
While Edmund and Lucy are ecstatic to be back in the land they once ruled as High King and Queen, Eustace is not enthusiastic about it in the least. In fact, you might call him disgruntled. Nevertheless, they find themselves in the Eastern Sea, where they are rescued by King Caspian and the crew of The Dawn Treader.
Without giving the film away, Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, King Caspian and crew are off on a mission to save Narnia. Their adventures take them through violent seas, they meet up with a monstrous sea serpent and a whole lot more, while their courage and beliefs are tested. Of course, there is a reunion with their friend and protector, the "Great Lion" Aslan.
"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader"
is a family-friendly adventure with some surprising twists and excitement at every turn.
