Thanksgiving Travelers Getting An Early Start
DEARBORN (WWJ) - The road to celebrate Thanksgiving is already busy, with holiday travelers hopping the train out of town to their destinations.
WWJ's Ron Dewey caught up with Arlene Bradford and her husband at the Amtrak train station in Dearborn. The Bradfords are beating the holiday rush and taking the train to Minneapolis where they will meet their children and families for Thanksgiving.
"Then, we're driving up to northern Minnesota to (the) family cabin and have Thanksgiving in the woods out by the lake," Arlene Bradford said.
That's something they don't do every Thanksgiving, but Bradford says this year is different because they're celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
