Thanks To Trade School, Classic Muscle Car Running on CNG
TROY (WWJ) -- The Center for Professional Studies, the Troy technical trade school, said last week it had signed up Auburn Hills-based EDAG as a Platinum Corporate Sponsor to provide resources, equipment and support on the center's conversion of a 2003 Mustang GT.
This vehicle currently runs on gasoline and alcohol injection and puts out 469 HP at the rear wheels. Center officials say they're using the car to prove the point that using compressed natural gas does not decrease horsepower by modifying this classic muscle car to also run on CNG and alcohol injection without losing horsepower.

CPS is a state-licensed vocational school focused on engineering, technical training and consulting services. Since 1993 it has certified more than 7,000 technical professionals at more than 400 companies in technical tools, techniques and methodologies.
