Teen Shot While Riding On Public Bus
FLINT (AP) - A 17-year-old was in critical condition after he was struck by a bullet that passed through the rear of a public bus in Flint.
The Flint Journal reports that the teen was shot about 7:15 a.m. Wednesday while riding in the Mass Transportation Authority bus.
He was identified as a student at the International Academy of Flint.
Officials say 22 passengers were on the bus, which was wrapped in an advertisement.
Mass Transportation Authority general manager Ed Benning says the ad made it impossible for someone on the outside of the bus to see inside.
The shooting is under investigation. No other injuries were reported.
