Teen Shot Near Detroit's Central High School
DETROIT (WWJ) - A shooting Thursday evening on Detroit's west side sent one teen to the hospital.
Police talking to WWJ Newsradio 950 said the 15-year-old boy was shot on Tuxedo Street near Linwood -- less than half-a-mile away from Central High School.
The teen apparently got into a fight and was shot at as he ran away. One of the bullets hit him, but he is expected to be OK. It was not immediately clear if the teen is a student at the school.
No arrests have been made as police continue to investigate the incident.
The boy's name was not released.
