Teen Sentenced In Deadly Crash
A Dearborn Heights teen will spend a year in the Wayne County jail as punishment for an accident that killed a friend.
18-year old Dominic Necovski was sentenced Monday morning by Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Craig Strong to three years probation. The first year will be in jail. Necovski also has to pay restitution.
Necovski pled guilty in October to a manslaughter charge related to the June 29th accident that claimed the life of Livonia Churchill grad Bradley Lashbrook. Lashbrook was a passenger in Necovski's car when it smashed into a tree off Eckles Road near Five Mile Road and I-275.
Necovski and another passenger were also injured, but have been recovering.
Police investigators say the car was traveling more than 80 miles per hour when Necovski lost control and crashed.
