Teen Killed In Shooting On Detroit's East Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - A 19-year-old is dead following a shooting on Alcoy Street near 7 Mile Road and Schoenherr on Detroit's east side.
Reporting from the scene Thursday evening, WWJ Newsradio 950's Stephanie Davis said she talked to one young girl who said she heard a series of gunshots, earlier in the afternoon.
Curious neighbors were gathered around, trying to find out what had happened, although investigators had this area blocked off with crime tape.
Authorities were not releasing any details about what happened, only saying an investigation is underway. The victim's name has not been released.
