Taylor Man Killed After Hit And Run Near I-275 Ramp
ROMULUS (WWJ) - Police in Romulus are hoping someone might have seen what happened near I-275 overnight, after a man was hit and killed by a vehicle that kept going.
Romulus Police say the 43-year-old resident of Taylor was walking along westbound Eureka near the end of the northbound I-275 ramp when he was hit by a vehicle early Friday morning. It's not known why he was walking near the freeway.
An accident investigation closed the northbound lanes completely for about four hours. Police have not yet released the victim's name.
