Takata To Open $14.6 Million Test Track
The Japanese auto supplier Takata will dedicate a $14.6 million, 18,000-square-food sled test track laboratory at its North American headquarters in Auburn Hills on Aug. 19.
Local, county and state officials will be in attendance to welcome the investment and the addition of about 40 high-tech jobs to the area.
The center will house seat belt, air bag and crash testing equipment.
