Suspicious Ice Cream Vendor Mystery Solved
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Police in Dearborn believe they have identified the suspicious ice cream venders that approached several children at a Dearborn park.
The two people who were in the 'ice cream' truck have been identified as recent graduates from college and came into the police department late Friday afternoon after hearing of the reports against them.
The man and woman, who are in their 20s, came to the police station saying that they were 'sincerely apologizing for any alarm they may have caused,' stated the Dearborn Police.
The two said they were recent graduates from college and thought it would be interesting to document their first summer job on the ice cream truck.
No charges have been filed.
