Suspects Wanted In Pair Of 7-Eleven Armed Robberies [PHOTOS]
WAYNE (WWJ) - Police are looking for tips from the public as they search for multiple suspects in a pair of 7-Eleven armed robberies in the city of Wayne.
Police believe the same men are responsible for both crimes — the first at around 3:40 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 12 at the 7-Eleven on Van Born. The second happened about an hour later at another 7-Eleven on Annapolis.
In both incidents, the suspects walked into the store where one of them drew a handgun. The clerk was then ordered to open the register, and the robbers fled on foot with the cash.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
Police have released surveillance photos hoping that someone will recognized the suspects — who were all wearing dark clothing, hoods and latex gloves. One of them was wearing striped athletic pants.
Police aren't saying how many suspects they're looking for, although it appears there were at least three.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Wayne Police Department at 734-721-1414.
