Suspects Sought In Triple Shooting On Detroit's East Side

DETROIT (WWJ) - An investigation is underway on Detroit's east side after police say three people were shot.

According to police, a group of about four men and one woman were firing shots in the 19600-block of Packard Street, near Outer Drive and Van Dyke, at around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday.

Three men were injured in the incident. A 23-year-old was hospitalized in serious condition, and a 25 and 26-year-old were reported critical — suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said the suspects fled the scene in a burgundy Pontiac Grand Prix an Ohio license plate.
