Suspect Wanted For Assaulting Senior Citizen In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Detroit Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect responsible for the assault and armed robbery of a 75-year-old woman.
Police say the woman exited her home around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday to place garbage in a trash container. As she returned to enter her home, the suspect approached and forced his way in, stating that he had a knife.
The suspect physically assaulted the victim, and took her personal items along with an unknown amount of money, before fleeing.
The victim was last listed in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a 25- to 30-year-old male with a medium build, medium brown complexion, round face and thin mustache.
