Suspect In Custody In Clinton Township Woman's Muder
CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - Police say a suspect is in custody in connection with the murder of a 49-year-old Clinton Township woman.
Authorities are expected to release additional information on that suspect later Tuesday.
Detectives earlier said they were questioning a 38-year-old man who is thought to be the woman's friend. However, it's not yet clear if that man is the suspect in custody.
The woman's body was found Saturday inside her home on Rosedale Drive in the Rudgate Clinton mobile home park near 16 Mile and Groesbeck Highway.
Police were called to the woman's home after neighbors and relatives said they hadn't seen or heard from her in several days.
Investigators have not yet released the victim's name or the cause of death.
