Substitute Teacher Charged In Connection With Sexual Assault Of Teen
ST. CLAIR SHORES (WWJ) - St. Clair Shores Police say a 27-year old Eastpointe Man has been arraigned on five counts of criminal sexual conduct, in the assault of a 14-year old girl.
Police say Curtis Michling was arrested on Monday while he was working as a substitute teacher at South Lake High School in St. Clair Shores.
Police say there's no evidence that the assault happened at the high school or during a school-related event or activity.
Michling is charged with five counts of criminal sexual conduct of the 1st degree. Bond was set at $200,000 and he's being held at the Macomb County Jail.
A preliminary exam is scheduled for May 15.
