Stoney's Blog: New York Post Does It Again
You can criticize the New York Post for many things, including sleaziness and propensity to stray from the truth in some articles. However the one thing the New York Post does better than any other publication is sensationalize the headlines. Yes, I have a sick sense of humor, but many of the Post's headlines are classic. Friday's cover on the death of Mohmar Khadafi could be one of their best. I mean who else but the New York Post could get Alex Rodriguez and Gaddafi on the same page. The main headline on the cover said" Gaddafi Killed By Yankee Fan." There was a picture of one of the rebels with a Yankee hat and a gun. Then under the main headline came the sentence that just made me laugh. "Gunman Had More Hits Than Arod"
