Stoney's Blog: Izzo And The Spartans Are Ready For Another Run
If you believe in karma, then you can already print the Michigan State 2012 Final 4 T-shirts. The last time the Spartans won the Big Ten Tournament was 2000 and all they did was win the national championship. Taking it one step further, when MSU earns a number one seed they reach the final four.
The Spartans begin their chase Friday night in Columbus as 19 point favorites when they take on the Blackbirds of LIU-Brooklyn. A one seed has never lost to a 16 seed so I don't see that happening here. I do think LIU will give the Spartans a bit of a problem with the way they run,but MSU should destroy them down low.
Monday morning Tom Izzo joined Sara, Jamie, and myself to look back at the Big 10 tournament and look ahead to this week.
