Stoney: This Time, Spartan Fans Might Be Right About The 'Blue Wall'

I am one who does not believe that Michigan State gets intentionally slighted by the local media as far as coverage in the Detroit area. I know the attention Jim Harbaugh gets is out of hand at times, but for the most part I think the "Blue Wall" is a figment of people's imagination.
However, Tuesday the Detroit News fueled the Spartans fire and I understand why they might be upset. In their story on Plaxico Burress' tweet about Michigan holding spring practice in Florida over spring break, the News gave more information than was needed in the story. They posted his tweet, which the story was about, but they also felt compelled to list Burress's past crimes.
Seriously,where is the need to put that in this story? His past has nothing to do with his tweet. Plus their original headline said "Plaxico Burress takes shot at Harbaugh, but not with illegal pistol."
In my opinion Spartan fans have a right to be upset, but don't lose any sleep over it because over most of the last decade you have done your talking where it counts.
