Stauskas Overcome With Emotion After Michigan Loss
ATLANTA (97.1 The Ticket) There may not be crying in baseball, but there is definitely crying in basketball. The Wolverines' Nik Stauskas proved that in the locker room after his team's championship game loss to the Cardinals.
Red-eyed and overcome with emotion, Stauskas said, "Just because we lost this game, we don't want to hang out heads this low," Stauskas said. "Obviously this is a tough loss to swallow, but we're going to move on with it and get better."
He added he's going to "work my ass off" this summer to help ensure the team has another great run next year.
Coach John Beilein stayed upbeat after the loss, Stauskas said, adding the coach told them not to get down on themselves.
