St. Clair Shores Police Probe Deaths Of 2 In Home
ST. CLAIR SHORES (WWJ/AP) - St. Clair Shores police are investigating after two people were found dead inside a house.
Police said the bodies were found at a house on Jane Street, in the neighborhood of Little Mack and 12 Mile Road, around 3 p.m. Tuesday.
While officers at the scene couldn't say exactly what led to the deaths, they did say there are no obvious signs of foul play.
Police said fire crews were called to the house twice Tuesday to determine if there was a carbon monoxide leak that could have killed the two, but tests showed no signs of the colorless and odorless gas, The Macomb Daily reported.
The Macomb County Medical Examiner's Office is expected to conduct autopsies on Wednesday.
The victims were not immediately identified. However, reports say the victims are a middle-aged male and female.
An investigation is ongoing.
