Spoilers??

I've never liked the term "spoilers." It basically means your team is out of the race and the only thing to play for is to help determine who will win it. That's the place the Tigers find themselves in right now, but this time I really don't mind the term. The Bengals "owe" the Twins some payback after last seasons 163rd game, and the White Sox have big mouth manager Ozzie Guillen. I would love to see the Tigers knock out either team...and they can go a long way towards doing that as they play the Pale Hose in Chicago.

Two Tigers with chances of winning some big awards for their seasons are Miguel Cabrera and Austin Jackson. I wish I could say I'm optimistic....but too often the MVP and Rookie of the Year awards go to players on winning teams. Besides, the way things have been going for Detroit teams recently (Galarraga...Lions) if there's a way to rip off teams from the Motor City it seems fate is not on their side.
