'Splash Bash' Is Best Kept New Year's Secret
STERLING HEIGHTS (WWJ) - New Years Eve isn't always a family affair, but one local hotel is making sure your kids will have the time of their lives.
"It's really a time to get closer with the kids and it's a great party," said Best Western Sterling Inn General Manager Victor Martin. "It's a great alternative to going out, chancing the roads and stuff, because you spend the night and everybody's safe."
Martin told WWJ Newsradio 950's Kathryn Larsen the Inn's New Year's Eve Splash Bash is what some call the best kept secret in town -- with an indoor water park, video game room, a bounce house, clowns, a magician and more.
There's also a 3D roller coaster ride are two non alcoholic champagne toasts -- one at 10 p.m. and one midnight.
"It's like a three-ring circus at times, but it's always fun and it's always entertaining," Martin said.
Rooms start at $200 dollars for a family of four. That includes the room, all the activities and breakfast. The event sells out each year but, as of Friday, there were still some tickets remaining.
