So-So Foes Make Pistons' Road Trip Less Daunting
After opening the season against a fired-up team playing its first game in a practically new arena and four squads expected to be in the playoff hunt, it wasn't surprising the Pistons started 0-5.
But the scheduled eased a bit, and now the Pistons have taken a modest two-game winning streak on a four-game, eight-day western trip that begins tonight against the Trail Blazers.
The Pistons went 1-7 in two similar trips last year, but there's good news on this jaunt: no Lakers, no Jazz, no Nuggets. The only playoff team from last season the Pistons will face is the Blazers.
