Six Rescued From Burning East Side Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Six people were rushed to the hospital after being rescued from a burning house on Detroit's east side.
It happened on Devonshire near Mack Avenue Friday morning.
DTE Energy crews said there was an illegal electrical hookup at the home, which the Detroit Fire Department confirmed. Fire officials said the cause of the fire remains undetermined.
Five of the injured people were treated and released. The condition of the remaning victim was not immediately known.
