Shoppers Take Advantage Of Warmer Temps To Pick Christmas Trees
FARMINGTON HILLS (WWJ) - With Sunday's warmer weather, a lot of people packed area Christmas tree lots for a freshly-cut fir.
Rolanda Mason of Southfield was at Tryban Tree Farms' lot in Farmington Hills since she was a child--a tradition she's passing on to her own children now--
"It's her first Christmas so that was another reason we came here. I was here when I was little so we are continuing the tradition and bringing her," said Mason.
Mason bought a Douglas fir. The lot, on Orchard Lake near Ten Mile, will be open until Christmas Eve.
"We've established a good business here," said Dan Tryban. "Customers return to see us every year and expect us to be here. So it's a nice business."
