Sheriff's Department Investigates Alleged Sexual Assault At Pontiac Nightclub
PONTIAC (WWJ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's department is investigating a suspected sexual assault that took place at a Pontiac nightclub. A 21-year-old Royal Oak woman was taken to the emergency room after apparently being drugged.
The victim said she was assaulted by someone at the Electricity nightclub.
The investigation into the incident continues.
In another, unrelated incident, a Pontiac man who was going to visit his sister on the city's north side was apparently stabbed in the lobby of an apartment complex by an unknown assailant.
The victim says he didn't get a good look at who stabbed him. The Oakland County Sheriff's department looked for a suspect in the area, but they were unable to locate the crime scene.
The 25-year-old victim was treated for a superficial stab wound to the chest.
