Severe Thunderstorms Hit Metro Detroit
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - The saying is "April showers bring May flowers," but what do thunderstorms bring?
Thunderstorms that rattled Metro Detroit overnight left a few thousand homes and businesses without power. DTE Energy crews were working on restoration efforts Wednesday morning.
Hail, measured an inch in diameter, was reported near Milford and Jackson. No major damage was reported.

Thursday - Partly sunny. Highs 49 to 53. A chance of rain late. Lows 34 to 38.
Friday - Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers through early afternoon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs 46 to 50. Rain likely with a chance of thunderstorms at night. Lows 41 to 45.
