Several Traffic Delays In Metro Area
DETROIT (WWJ) - WWJ'S Vicki Lynn reports several delay and several ongoing construction projects.
A cap from a pickup is in the eastbound left lane on I-96 this is creating a delay in Livonia on I-96 (Jeffries) westbound between Merriman Rd. and Farmington Rd. closed due to an accident. The road is currently backed up to Middlebelt Rd. Exit at Inkster and use the service drive to re-enter I-96 at Newburgh Rd.
Another delay in Livonia is at Hines Dr in both directions between Newburgh Rd and Outer Dr. closed due to flooding until further notice.
Ongoing construction now in Center Line. I-696 SD eastbound at Van Dyke Rd. Left lane closed.
Of course, keep in mind the long-term construction in Southfield- along Southfield Rd. at 8 Mile Rd closed due to the road construction. No delay - but this is part of the ongoing Southfield Reconstruction Project.
