Serious Injuries When 2 Motorcycles Collide
ADDISON TWP. (WWJ) - Three people were hurt when two motorcycles collided in northern Oakland County.
Oakland County Sheriff's officials said it happened Sunday afternoon along northbound Rochester Road in Addison Township.
One rider, a Dearborn resident, lost control and crossed the center line, striking the other motorcycle. That rider, from Oxford Township, suffered a serious leg injury.
Officials said he was conscious and responding to paramedics. He was transported by medical helicopter to Royal Oak Hospital in serious condition.
The Dearborn man and his female passenger were also taken to the hospital with injuries.
Officials said all involved were wearing helmets.
No names have been released.
