Forum Examines Responding To Ethnic Intimidation

WASHTENAW COUNTY (WWJ) - As part of an ongoing effort to build stronger relationships and trust with the community --the Washtenaw County Sheriff's office has teamed up with the Board of Commissioners and County Administrator, to host open sessions on how to respond to ethnic intimidation.

A 3-part series on six different topics will be hosted by the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office. An additional session will deal with ethnic intimidation says Sheriff Jerry Clayton.

Clayton says they'll discuss responding to allegations of discrimination, criminal elements of hate crimes and helping children navigate an intimidating climate.
