Semi Truck Collides With Amtrak Train Causing Delays, No Injuries
ANN ARBOR TWP. (WWJ) - Officials in Washtenaw County are trying to figure out what caused a train and semi truck to collide in Ann Arbor Township.
Sheriff's Office Spokesman Derrick Jackson says no one was hurt in the accident in which the train hit the trailer of the semi truck.
"There are crossing gates there and I'm sure that's one of the things we'll be looking at there - whether they were functional or not," said Jackson.
The crash causing delays in the travel along the Detroit to Chicago route.
