School Officials Help Nab TV Thieves
Ferndale police are crediting two Detroit school administrators for helping catch a group of suspected thieves.
Police arrested three students from Taft School after they broke into a home on Farmdale Street Tuesday afternoon. The administrators called police after they noticed suspicious activity and followed the students to a home where two big-screen TVs were stolen.
One of the suspects was caught carrying the television in a nearby party store on Eight Mile Road.
Criminal charges against four suspects are pending.
