Ryan Gosling Making Twitter Buzz While In Detroit For Movie
DETROIT (WWJ) - He's in town to shoot a new movie he's directing and now Ryan Gosling is the star attraction on the local twitter sphere.
WWJ's Sandra McNeill reports there's a hash tag dedicated to tracking the "Notebook" star's movements.
Samantha Mertins says like many women she's a fan of the hunky star - who has been spotted recently around metro Detroit where he is preparing to direct a movie called "How to Catch a Monster."
"We just missed him at a couple different locations - he was at Cafe d'Mongo's last week and he was also at the Tap Room in Grosse Pointe," said Mertins.
So Mertins has created a Twitter hashtag #GoslingWatchDetroit "It really is a mixture of my fascination with Twitter and how trending that works and just a couple popular topics that are nearby to me - obviously him and the city of Detroit."
Mertins says it's all in good fun: "If he finds out about it or hears about it - this isn't meant to creep him out or stalk him out at all," she laughed.
