Ruptured Michigan Pipeline To Be Restarted
A Canadian energy company wins federal permission to gradually restart its southern Michigan pipeline that ruptured in late July.
Enbridge says after a two-month shutdown, it is restarting the line that leaked up to one million gallons of oil into the Kalamazoo River near Marshall.
The line has been closed since Enbridge reported the leak July 26th. The pipeline will restart at lower pressure and will gradually be brought up to speed. An independent third party is monitoring the restart.
