Rumors Swirl That Eminem, Kim Are Back Together

In the song "Kim," Marshall Mathers -- aka Eminem -- slits her throat, drags her through the woods and puts her body in the trunk. And it's only one of the ways he has metaphorically killed the mother of his only daughter throughout his celebrated musical career.
But now, rumors are swirling that Detroit's twisted version of Brad and Angelina could be back together again.
Kim's mother, Kathy Sluck, reportedly told RadarOnline.com that Eminem is building Kim a new mansion in Macomb.
"She (Kim) has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She's doing very well," Kathy said, per the Huffington Post. "I think they might (get back together), they get on better than ever."
As Eminem promotes the "Marshall Mathers LP 2," Shady Record Promotions, the promotional arm of Eminem's Shady Records, also wrote on Facebook that Eminem and Kim Mathers, the woman he has married and divorced twice, could be reuniting.
The post says, "Eminem and Kim are reportedly reconciling. Rumors are circulating that they may actually be getting back together."
Fan reaction was swift, with some applauding and others adding a healthy dose of skepticism. Kensey Barlow wrote on the Facebook post: "Kim is the only woman he has from his real life. Kudos if true."
A disbelieving Susie Myers wrote: "Even All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Kim & Marshall together again."
As any Eminem fan knows, he and Kim have had a long and tumultuous run. High school sweethearts, they had daughter Hailie Jade in 1995, married in 1999, divorced in 2001, then married and divorced again in 2006. Hailie was named homecoming queen at Chippewa Valley High School earlier this fall. Kim walked her onto the field to accept the crown while Eminem reportedly watched from the cafeteria.
They both weathered drug addiction, and Kim was arrested in 2001 and 2003 for drug infractions and has largely stayed out of the spotlight since then.
Whether the reconciliation rumors are true or not, the famed rapper seems to be trying to cross some bridges he burned in the past. After recording searing songs like "Cleanin' Out my Closet," where he wishes death on his allegedly alcoholic, abusive mother Debbie, he apologizes and says he loves her in "Headlights," a track off his new release.
