Robbers Make Off With $2,000 Worth Of Cigarettes
DEARBORN (WWJ) - Police say a pair of robbers broke into a Dearborn market and stole over $2,000 worth of cigarettes.
Police say the Arabian Village Market on Dix was broken into by two unknown males at 9:21 p.m. Sunday. The incident was captured on video which shows the suspects entering the business after breaking glass in the front door.
Police say the robbers were able to gather over $2,000 worth of cigarettes and $850 from the cash register before fleeing the area.
The suspects are described as two unknown males in their early to mid 30's.
One suspect is described as heavyset, approx 5'8'' wearing a black jacket with a red and white symbol on the back, black jeans, black boots and white gloves. The other suspect is described as medium build, 5'9'' wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, black skull cap with orange and red writing, and white gloves.
The suspect vehicle is described as an older model black or dark-colored Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable.
There is a possible third suspect who was captured on video the Friday before the incident with one of the other suspects. She is described as an unknown female in her early 30s, medium build, approx. 5'6'' with straight shoulder length hair, wearing dark-colored pants and a dark-colored jacket.
