Road Rage Incident Prompts Lockdown At 3 Schools
WALLED LAKE (WWJ) - Police in Walled Lake are on the hunt for a driver wanted in an apparent road rage incident Friday morning. Police said that driver may be armed.
Three schools in Walled Lake were under lockdown following the incicent that occurred in front of Mary Helen Guest Elementary School before classes started for the day.
The lockdown has since been lifted from Guest, as well as St. William Catholic School and St. Matthew Lutheran School.
The incident reportedly occurred in front of Guest Elementary School before classes started for the day. Officials described the incident as a case of road rage involving a gun, but no other details were provided.
Judy Evola, a district spokesperson, said no students were involved in the incident. She said the schools were placed on lockdown as a precautionary measure.
No one was hurt.
