River Rouge Party Store Owner Killed In Armed Robbery
RIVER ROUGE (WWJ)- A lot of holiday lights are up along Coolidge, but the mood around Stars Liquor store is anything but festive as police search for a killer.
WWJ's Vickie Thomas reported an armed robbery has left one of the owners of the Stars Liquor Store dead. Police at the scene on Coolidge and Campbell right on the border between River Rouge and Detroit said it unfolded around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The victim is a man in his 50s. He was shot one time and rushed to Oakwood Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
